Chippy-Zippy

Chippy-Zippy is a combination of two existing patterns. Zippy (invented by Dr. Ed) and Chippy (the Zippy variation with a chop). Because both manipulators manipulate on their own beats it works pretty good together. The base pattern, a 9 club PPS runaround stays the same as in Zippy and Chippy.

It’s a good idea to try the Zippy and Chippy first. When you’re able to run both patterns separately you can combine them. It also helps to do slow, high passes – the manipulators will thank you for not hitting them!

Ed also decided there should be a style guide set to do the “zip zip” as behind the back and then in front.
